Getting to Brno
Brno can be accessed easily by train. There are regular direct trains from Prague (2h 40min), Vienna (1h 30min), Bratislava (1h 30min), and Ostrava (2h 15min). You can find your connection and buy a ticket at Czech Railways website.
There are also buses going to Brno from all the directions above. A recommended option are yellow Student Agency coaches. You can find the connection and buy your ticket at Student Agency website.
Getting around Brno
Both the conference venue and Continental hotel are located close to the city centre, so a basic fare ticket valid for 15 minutes is sufficient for one ride. Tickets can be bought at newsagents or at yellow vending machines located at major public transport stops for 20 CZK.
Participants with a Czech phone numberr can also buy an SMS-ticket (valid for 20 minutes; do not get on before you receive the message) by sending a text message "BRNO20" to 90206. The ticket costs 20 CZK.
